Saw Operator - 2nd Shift

Key Responsibilities

• Stringent material control to meet company targets.
• Operate CNC saws to cut aluminum and steel.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
• Measure and mark material for cutting with high accuracy.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Inspect raw materials and finished pieces for quality.
• Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on saw equipment.
• Assist with unloading, storing, and organizing raw material stock.
• Collaborate with team members in fabrication, assembly, and finishing departments.
• Report equipment malfunctions or safety issues to supervisors.

Qualifications & Experience Required

• Overhead crane experience a plus.
• 1-2 years of experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Prior experience operating saws and understanding cutting techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong measurement and math skills.
• Manual dexterity and physical stamina for repetitive tasks and standing.
• Commitment to high-quality work and meeting deadlines.
