Saw Operator - 2nd Shift

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated 2nd Shift Automated Band Saw Operator who is dedicated, detail orientated and self-motivated as this position will be working with limited supervision. The hours are typically Monday - Friday from 4pm - 12:30am CT hours.

Requirements

• Experience operating a band saw cutting metal/steel
• Experience with overhead crane operation helpful
• Must be able to read measuring devices, such as tape measure
• Must be able to read blueprints
• Must be highly motivated and pay attention to details with a strong drive to succeed
• Must pass competency test and pre-employment physical including drug screen

Qualifications

Global Power Components is willing to train candidates who are willing to work hard, put in extra hours, and want to advance their career. This position will start as a contract position (through a Staffing Agency) before being hired on Global Power Components payroll (direct hire).
