Jackson, New Jersey Job Category: Hotel Operations Req ID 34121 Apply Now Overview: The Resort Night/Overnight Transportation Driver is responsible for providing friendly and efficient service to guests while transporting their luggage and providing other services as needed. The successful candidate is professional, personable, and has excellent customer service skills. This position is during night/overnight hours, ranging from 6pm-6am. Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour Responsibilities: Greet guests in a friendly, professional, and helping mannerPickup, transport, and drop off Resort guests to and from Resort, Theme Park, Water Park, Safari, and guestparking lotSafely load, unload, and transfer luggage in and out of vehiclesConverse with guest while providing information on the property, resort, and amenities offeredMaintain cleanliness of transportation vehicles, work location, property, and hotel perimeterTransport guest and luggage from Resort Lodge to their accommodationsTags articles and stores luggage in an organize mannerEnsure the appropriate amount of transport vehicles and seats are available prior to guest arrival based on reservation sizeCommunicate guests needs and information to Front Desk staff in a timely mannerSupplies guests with travel information, such as transportation information, routes and schedulesAct as a runner for Front Desk team as neededAssists other departments as needed Qualifications: 18 years or olderAdhere to Six Flags Great Adventure Resort Driving PoliciesMust have Valid driver’s license in good standing and pass the Six Flags Driving TestOperate the Front Desk system to confirm arrival times, reservation size, and complete vehicle registrationAbility to work outdoors in all weather conditions for extended periods of timeMust be a friendly, outgoing “people” person with a good attitude and smileUtilize a radio to communicate information in a timely mannerCompliance with communication protocols for telephone and emailAbility to remain organized and plan accordingly based on information provided by guestsPossess ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environmentPossess ability to remain calm and professional in all situationsKnowledgeable in all hotel, Theme Park, Water Park, and Safari hours of operation & offeringsMust be able to work mornings, nights, weekends, holidays, and other shifts as necessaryAble to communicate effectively in the English language, including the ability to read, speak, write, and comprehend.Must maintain a strong commitment to safety.Must be able to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods of timeMust be able to lift, carry, pull, and transport luggage items up to an average of 50 pounds within reasonable distance to/from cars and roomsMust have a friendly, enthusiastic, and service-oriented attitudeMust be able to perform tasks safely and adhere to company policyMay be regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and outdoor weather conditions including extreme cold or heatMust be able to get in and out of larger vehicles While this job description is intended to be an accurate reflection of the requirements of the job, management reserves the right to add or remove duties when circumstances (e.g., emergencies, changes in workload, rush jobs, or technological developments) dictate.
