About the role

The SAU+AmeriCorps VISTA project supports anti-poverty efforts in the community and on campus with various partner organizations, providing meaningful civic engagement opportunities to VISTA members, students, and community members.

Responsibilities

• Design a structured tutoring system for after school, coordinating with the Learning Center to provide support and resources;
• Regularly assess the effectiveness of the program;
• Develop programming for the elderly residents to engage and support their mental and physical well-being.

Requirements

Terms Permit attendance at school during off hours, permits working at another job during off hours, car recommended.

• Education level: Some college;
• Age requirement: Minimum 18, no maximum.
