About the role
Nuvotronics is seeking an experienced RF hardware Senior Regional Sales Manager with industry experience to support and grow U.S.-based government and commercial customers. This role owns the full sales lifecycle from opportunity identification and quoting through contract negotiation and revenue delivery and serves as the primary customer interface. The ideal candidate is comfortable navigating complex technical and government environments, coordinating across internal engineering, product, and operations teams, and driving bookings and long-term account growth. This position requires strong business judgment, technical aptitude, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Domestic travel of approximately 30–50% is expected.
Responsibilities
- Actively identify, develop, and close new sales opportunities within assigned markets.
- Drive revenue growth by expanding relationships with existing accounts and targeting new prospects.
- Develop and implement strategic account plans to exceed sales goals.
- Build strong, lasting relationships with clients, acting as their main point of contact for all matters.
- Understand client needs, offer tailored solutions, and ensure customer satisfaction to drive repeat business.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance, ensuring seamless communication and quick resolution of client issues.
- Monitor and track key performance metrics, providing regular sales forecasts and progress updates to management.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and account statuses using CRM tools.
- Provide feedback from the field to influence product development and marketing strategies, ensuring alignment with market demands.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for Nuvotronics’ products.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop customized proposals and solutions that align with client requirements.
- Leverage industry knowledge to present Nuvotronics as a trusted partner and leader in mmWave and RF systems.
- Lead negotiations with clients to secure favorable terms, pricing, and long-term agreements.
- Ensure that contracts meet both client requirements and Nuvotronics' standards for quality, compliance, and profitability.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure the successful delivery of products and services as per agreed terms.
Requirements
- 10–15 years of aerospace payload hardware sales experience, with a proven track record of driving growth in technically complex markets.
- Experience selling RF/microwave components or modules (not software, services, or complete platforms).
- At least 7 years of demonstrated success in business development, account growth, and securing new design wins for RF and microwave technologies, including products such as:
- Filters, Diplexers and Multiplexers
- Couplers and power dividers
- RF front-end modules
- Antennas, Phased arrays
- mmWave assemblies
- Strong understanding of RF, microwave, and high-frequency systems, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to engineers, program managers, and procurement teams.
- Established network within the Satcom and aerospace industry, with the ability to build trusted relationships and influence key engineering and program stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities, develop strategic account plans, navigate long sales cycles, and convert design wins into production revenue.
- Able to collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, engineering, and product development, to deliver tailored solutions and meet customer expectations.
Pay
The pay range for this role is $140,000.00 - $155,000.00 plus benefits. The range is a general guideline and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
