Responsibilities

• Provide in-home and online SAT/ACT test prep tutoring to students in the East Valley.
• Help students prepare, improve their scores, and build confidence.
• Use detailed student notes, assessments, and instructional resources to guide instruction.
• Build meaningful, long‑term 1:1 relationships with students (rather than one‑off sessions).

Qualifications

• Current college enrollment or a completed college degree
• Strong command of SAT and/or ACT content areas (math, reading, writing, science reasoning)
• Background as a teacher, education professional, or test prep specialist
• High personal scores on AP exams, SAT or ACT
• Ability to adapt instruction to different learning styles and pacing needs
• Reliability, professionalism, and consistent follow‑through
• Reliable transportation for in‑home tutoring assignments
• Understanding of testing and pacing strategies

Pay

• $20‑$35 per hour base pay
• Up to $40 per hour for select students and specialized assignments
• Performance bonuses tied to student satisfaction, reliability, and other performance criteria
• Semi‑monthly pay
