SAP Transportation Management Manager

Remote 10-month contract role (high possibility of extension) at $60–70/hr on 1099.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced SAP Transportation Management (SAP TM) Manager to join a long-term remote engagement. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP TM, hands-on experience integrating SAP TM with SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), and a strong background leading teams and delivering enterprise SAP solutions. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a large-scale SAP implementation while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP Transportation Management (SAP TM) implementation and support activities.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver scalable SAP TM solutions.
• Design and implement innovative solutions for complex transportation management challenges.
• Manage and mentor team members, providing technical guidance and leadership.
• Drive project execution and participate in key architectural and business decisions.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system integration.
• Implement SAP TM with external planning systems and related integrations.
• Integrate SAP TM with SAP Extended Warehouse Management (SAP EWM).
• Identify and resolve technical and functional issues across multiple teams.
• Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions and mentor junior consultants.
• Stay current with SAP TM best practices, emerging technologies, and industry trends.
• Ensure high-quality solution delivery throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP Transportation Management (SAP TM).
• Experience integrating SAP TM with SAP Extended Warehouse Management (SAP EWM).
• Proven experience implementing SAP TM with external planning and integration solutions.
• Ability to lead teams and manage enterprise-level SAP projects.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience working in cross-functional Agile project environments.
• Intermediate understanding of Solution Architecture.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent college education.
• Consumer Goods industry experience.
• Previous experience leading SAP TM implementation projects.
• Strong stakeholder management and leadership capabilities.

Pay

$60–70/hr on 1099.
