SAP Transportation Management Lead

Location: Remote (US Citizens/Green Card holders only, W2 contract)

About the Role

Lead the SAP Transportation Management (STM) work stream, driving best-practice implementation through business-driven configuration and hands-on SAP S/4HANA Transportation Management (TM) expertise.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate requirement-gathering workshops with business process owners and complete the Business-Driven Configuration Assessment questionnaire.
• Plan and build Workshop A, including system demonstrations and presentation decks.
• Manage requirements, configuration, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Document key decisions, process flows, and authorization/security models.
• Develop test plans for both standard and custom objects.
• Support change management and reporting activities.
• Author functional specifications for custom developments.

Requirements

• Hands-on S/4HANA Transportation Management (TM) experience, including Advanced Transportation.
• Deep expertise in Freight Units, Freight Orders, and route determination.
• Integration experience with:
  • ShipERP for small-parcel management
  • Carrier systems
  • Extended Warehouse Management (EWM)
  • Global Trade Services (GTS) and Dangerous Goods
  • External 3PL warehouse systems
• Strong background in the Aerospace & Defense (A&D) industry.
