Responsibilities

In the assigned Job Role of Package Consultant 2, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:

• Participate in requirements gathering with stakeholders across business units and assist in validating specifications to ensure alignment with business objectives and ERP capabilities
• Contribute to solution architecture design by assisting in customizing modules and features of ERP package, based on detailed business requirements
• Develop and integrate new features into existing applications, conduct code reviews and maintain the codebase for stability and compliance
• Participate in system integration efforts by configuring interfaces, executing ETL processes, and ensuring consistent data flow between ERP and other applications
• Assess ERP system performance to identify enhancement opportunities and to ensure that ERP customizations are in compliance with security measures and regulatory standards
• Develop comprehensive documentation for ERP customizations and deliver user training to facilitate effective knowledge transfer

Requirements

The following skills and experience are required:

• SAP experience, with strong experience in SAP Supply Chain and Logistics modules
• Hands-on experience in SAP Transportation Management (SAP TM)
• Experience in multiple full-cycle SAP TM implementations, rollouts, upgrades, or support projects
• Strong functional knowledge of SAP TM processes including:
  • Transportation planning
  • Freight order management
  • Freight unit building
  • Carrier selection
  • Tendering
  • Freight cost calculation
  • Charge management
  • Freight settlement
  • Transportation execution and monitoring
• Experience with embedded SAP TM in SAP S/4HANA
• Strong understanding of order-based transportation and delivery-based transportation scenarios
• Ability to conduct workshops, gather business requirements, perform fit-gap analysis, and prepare functional design documents
• Experience in preparing functional specifications for enhancements, interfaces, reports, forms, and workflows
• Strong understanding of logistics, transportation, warehouse, and supply chain execution processes
• Ability to lead teams, manage stakeholders, and drive solution delivery independently
• Excellent communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent is required from an accredited institution. Alternatively, three years of progressive experience in the specialty can be considered in lieu of every year of education.

Skills

Preferred skills and experience include:

• Experience in SAP S/4HANA transformations or global rollout programs
• Experience with SAP Business Network for Logistics / Logistics Business Network
• Knowledge of SAP EWM, SAP GTS, SAP Yard Logistics, or SAP Event Management
• Experience in transportation optimization and advanced planning scenarios
• Exposure to SAP BTP, Integration Suite/CPI, APIs, and OData services
• Experience working in global delivery models with onsite/offshore teams
• Knowledge of SAP Activate methodology and Agile delivery
• Experience in industries such as manufacturing, automotive, retail, logistics, consumer goods, or life sciences
