SAP TM Business Consultant

Introduction

We are seeking an experienced SAP Transportation Management (SAP TM) Lead Consultant to join a high-performing implementation team. This individual will provide functional leadership, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive the successful delivery of SAP TM solutions in a complex enterprise environment. The ideal candidate has deep SAP TM expertise, strong integration experience with SAP EWM, and a proven track record leading implementation efforts.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Lead SAP TM solution design, configuration, and implementation activities across project workstreams.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to develop innovative transportation management solutions.
• Provide technical leadership, mentor team members, and support key project decisions.
• Design and support SAP TM integrations with SAP EWM and other enterprise applications.
• Troubleshoot complex SAP TM issues and develop scalable solutions across multiple teams.
• Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions and promote SAP TM best practices.
• Stay current with SAP TM capabilities, industry trends, and transportation management innovations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Must-have qualifications that candidates must meet to be considered:
• 6+ years of SAP Transportation Management (SAP TM) implementation experience.
• Strong experience integrating SAP TM with SAP Extended Warehouse Management (SAP EWM).
• Experience leading SAP TM project workstreams and collaborating across multiple teams.
• Able to design scalable SAP TM solutions for complex business requirements.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience providing functional leadership and mentoring project team members.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Nice-to-have skills that would make a candidate more competitive but are not required:
• Experience integrating SAP TM with Uber Freight or other external transportation planning platforms.
• Prior SAP TM implementations involving external planning and third-party logistics integrations.
• Consumer Goods industry experience.
• Solution Architecture experience.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Transportation Management implementations.
