SAP Technical Consultant – Global Trade Services (Remote)

We are looking for a SAP Technical Consultant for a global aerospace company to design, develop, and support SAP GTS technical solutions. This is a 4-month contract (extensions likely) in a remote US role as a W-2 Stage 4 Solutions employee.

About the role

You will build ABAP enhancements, RICEWF objects, interfaces, RAP applications, and integrations between SAP GTS and SAP ECC/S/4HANA modules (OTC, MM, EWM, and TM), while supporting global trade compliance, customs management, SAP HANA optimization, and enterprise system integrations.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable and efficient SAP applications
• Build development objects including enhancements, forms, interfaces, custom screen developments, custom table generations, RAP applications, and BADI implementations
• Collaborate with teams to solve complex technical challenges
• Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to process improvements
• Stay current with SAP technologies and trends

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• 8+ years of SAP design and development experience in SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA systems
• Technical expertise in SAP GTS and its integration with core ERP modules (OTC, MM, eWM, TM)
• Familiarity with global trade compliance regulations
• Knowledge of SAP HANA for optimized GTS reporting and analytics
• Middleware and interface experience
• Experience with Compliance Management, Customs Management, and Risk Management
• Large-scale SAP implementation experience
• ABAP development including user exits, coding, and design
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Bachelor’s degree

Desired Skills

• Understanding of TM and ECC/S4 to GTS connections, master data transfer, and document/transactional data transfer
• Experience with classic SAP tools: RAP, ADT, ALV, Adobe Forms, ALE/IDOC, RFC/BAPI, BADI/enhancements, Workflow, LSMW/LTMC, CDS Views, AMDP, AIF, DRF
• Exposure to SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, JavaScript, GIT, WebIDE/BAS, and related technologies
• Integration experience using SOAP, OData, IDOCs, and Proxys
• Focused-build and RF screen development experience
