SAP Supply Chain Manager, Amazon Leo
About the role
Amazon Leo is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite broadband network, delivering fast, reliable internet to customers and communities worldwide. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced SAP Supply Chain Product Manager – Technical to support the development and management of software products in S/4 ERP, Ariba, and related integrations, ensuring alignment with business objectives in manufacturing environments.
Responsibilities
- Conduct analysis of business and customer requirements related to SAP S/4 supply chain, master data governance, finance, accounting, costing, Ariba supply chain collaboration solutions, and data integration with Amazon corporate financial systems.
- Develop product vision and strategy, feature design, and roadmap for SAP S/4, SAP MDG, and Ariba needs in both in-house and outsourced manufacturing contexts.
- Define and prioritize SAP S/4 supply chain, SAP MDG, FICO, and Ariba product features and requirements to ensure timely and successful delivery.
- Communicate with internal stakeholders, including business users, technical teams, and management, to align the product roadmap with business objectives.
- Design, architect, configure, and review SAP and Ariba systems to meet business requirements in MM, PP, FICO modules, Ariba PO collaboration, forecast collaboration, manufacturing visibility, and integration with Amazon financial applications.
- Drive product discussions, distill clear requirements from diverse stakeholders, and deliver product solutions independently with limited guidance.
- Participate in Unit Test, System Integration Test, User Acceptance Test, and user training to ensure software products meet customer requirements.
- Ensure software products are delivered on time and within budget.
- Lead product discussions, set vision and goals, and conduct monthly business reviews with executives, focusing on business user adoption and support.
Requirements
- Master Data Governance: Material master, bills of materials, purchasing info records, quality info records, and other objects relevant to in-house and outsourced manufacturing.
- Material Requirements Planning (MRP): Planning strategy, MRP type, MRP exceptions, custom reports, and planned order to purchase requisition conversion.
- Procure-to-Pay: Purchase requisition to purchase order conversion, SAP sourcing and procurement (RFQ, PO, pricing conditions, account assignment, item category, inbound delivery, goods receipt), and integration with Amazon financial applications.
- Forecast Collaboration: Forecast, commit, inventory visibility, projected stock, and min/max inventory alerts.
- Manufacturing Visibility: Business process workflow, as-built genealogy, serial number and lot track and trace.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels to meet demand while minimizing excess stock.
- Production Planning and Control: Plan and control production activities to meet demand and optimize resource use.
- Quality Control: Enable visibility into the cost of quality to drive continuous product and manufacturing process improvements.
- Cost of Goods Analysis: Enable visibility into the true cost of producing products to inform profitability decisions.
- Cost Accounting: Track and allocate production costs, including direct costs (labor, material) and indirect costs (overhead, depreciation).
- Manage integration across SAP modules (MM, PP, FICO), Ariba, Coupa, and Amazon financial systems.
- 7+ years of experience as a functional analyst, product manager, or related role with SAP and Ariba in manufacturing companies.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Experience leading and growing teams of senior technology professionals in customer-facing roles.
Qualifications
- SAP certifications such as SAP Certified Application Associate or Professional in Supply Chain are preferred.
- Deep understanding of SAP Supply Chain, Ariba supply chain collaboration, and manufacturing environments.
- Ability to design, configure, and review SAP and Ariba systems to meet business requirements.
- Strong analytical and communication skills to align product roadmaps with business objectives.
