Key job responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Operations Program Managers
  • Ensure hardware is delivered to support production schedules identifying, tracking, and resolving risks to delivery with cross functional teams as necessary
  • Protect future deliveries through detailed and proactive evaluation of supplier production lines for capacity and manufacturing quality
  • Report status to senior leadership in a clear and succinct manner
  • Develop and implement best practices within the team while ingesting and replicating best practices from other teams
  • Lead team to execute annual improvement plans
  • Basic Qualifications

    • Experience managing cross-functional projects and initiatives
    • Experience using data and metrics to back up assumptions, evaluate outcomes, and make data-driven decisions
    • Experience prioritizing and handling multiple assignments at any given time while maintaining commitment to deadlines
    • 5+ years of experience in technical program management, operations or supply chain roles
    • Technical understanding of PCBA manufacturing processes and materials, capacity assessments, and quality requirements
    • Experience driving continuous improvement activities, and performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Correction of Errors (COE)
    • Experience driving supplier development programs and manufacturing technology transfers

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Master's degree or above in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or Master's degree or above in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or Business Administration
    • Six Sigma Green Belt, or Six Sigma Black Belt certification
    • Experience with process improvement techniques such as Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma
    • Direct experience managing high-complexity electronics contract manufacturers, preferably in aerospace or defense industries
    • Demonstrated success in implementing advanced manufacturing processes and quality systems in regulated industries
    • Deep expertise in space-grade electronics manufacturing, including familiarity with J-STD-001 Space Addendum, IPC-A-610 Space Addendum, and AS9100 requirements
    • Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC) and design of experiments (DOE)
