SAP Security & Compliance Specialist

For our client, we are seeking a SAP Security & Compliance Specialist to join the team of a leader in the Energy & Utilities space. This remote role will focus on strengthening SAP security governance, access controls, and compliance processes across the enterprise. The specialist will partner with technical and operational stakeholders to support segregation of duties, audit readiness, and disciplined change control. This is a senior-level opportunity to influence control design, improve governance practices, and help maintain a secure and compliant ERP environment. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $100,000 – $120,000 annually Responsibilities Lead the design and maintenance of SAP security roles and authorization concepts Align access models with operational needs and segregation of duties Evaluate user access provisioning and role changes Serve as the primary resource for SAP GRC design and administration Enhance governance, risk, and compliance processes for access control and compliance Identify control gaps and recommend improvements Manage transport-related processes with a focus on control and traceability Develop and maintain documentation for audit requirements Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience Senior analyst-level experience in SAP Security Demonstrated expertise in SAP GRC design and administration Hands-on experience with RevTrac and transport/change control processes Strong understanding of SAP role design and governance principles Experience preparing documentation for audits Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities independently Benefits Opportunity to work with a leading global water technology company Engagement in innovative and sustainable solutions Collaboration with cross-functional teams Professional development in a senior-level role Exposure to enterprise-level governance and compliance practices Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
