SAP SD Functional Consultant

Austin, TX – On‑site, full‑time position.

Responsibilities

• Design and configure SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) module, including pricing, account assignment, and revenue recognition processes.
• Develop and maintain SAP SD user exits for sales order, delivery, billing, and related functions.
• Perform SAP configurations in the SD area and write functional/technical specifications for ABAP custom programs and interfaces.
• Debug ABAP code and work with SAP iDocs for order integration.
• Integrate SAP SD with other SAP modules and external systems, including intercompany postings and pro‑forma invoices.
• Provide project management for SAP implementations, coordinating resources, budget, and timelines.
• Gather business requirements from users across regions, define scope, and translate strategies into automated solutions.
• Test and roll out final solutions, ensuring successful deployment.
• Present designs and system developments to business audiences of 10–20 people.
• Work independently on multiple projects while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience delivering SAP projects.
• Specialized expertise in SAP SD design and configuration.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in debugging ABAP and creating ABAP custom programs.
• Solid knowledge of SD pricing, account assignment, and revenue recognition.
• Experience with SAP SD user exits, intercompany postings, and pro‑forma invoicing.
• Familiarity with SAP iDocs for order induction and integration with other SAP modules.
• Demonstrated ability to manage SAP projects, including integration with external systems and business partners.

Preferred Experience

• Hands‑on experience with SAP S/4HANA.
• Prior project work involving Apple PLC or similar external partners.
