SAP S/4HANA Service Management Consultant

About the Role

Kopius is seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Service Management Consultant to support a major SAP transformation initiative for a leading Products and Consumer Goods client. This engagement is focused on S/4HANA Private Cloud implementation and requires a consultant with proven experience delivering Service Management solutions in cloud environments.

In this role, you will lead Service Management workstreams, provide advisory guidance, and deliver end-to-end SAP Service Management solutions aligned with business objectives. You will lead functional teams, drive successful project delivery, and partner directly with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, production-grade solutions.

This is a senior consulting role for someone with deep SAP Service Management expertise, hands-on cloud implementation experience, and proven ability to lead workstreams and functional teams in complex enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP S/4HANA Service Management solutions on Private Cloud
• Gather requirements, conduct fit-gap analysis, and develop functional designs and solution roadmaps
• Configure and support Service Order Management, Service Contracts, Warranty Management, Field Service Management, Resource Scheduling, and Service Parts Management
• Facilitate workshops and collaborate with business and technical stakeholders
• Lead functional teams and drive successful project delivery
• Provide advisory guidance on SAP Service Management best practices, cloud implementation patterns, governance, and platform optimization
• Document configurations, decisions, and processes clearly for handover and knowledge transfer

Basic Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to engage directly with business and technical stakeholders
• Strong stakeholder management skills — comfortable navigating complex enterprise environments with senior client stakeholders
• Consultative posture — comfortable providing advisory guidance and translating business needs into technical solutions
• Proven experience leading functional teams and workstreams in high-stakes project environments
• Self-directed and proactive — able to operate independently and drive delivery outcomes
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through discipline
• Comfortable with regular travel to the client's Charlotte, NC office (2 weeks per month onsite)
• Strong sense of accountability and ownership over deliverables, workstream outcomes, and team success

Technical Requirements

• Proven hands-on experience implementing SAP S/4HANA Service Management on Private Cloud — this is a critical requirement for this role
• 3+ full lifecycle SAP Service Management implementations with hands-on configuration experience across the entire lifecycle (design, build, test, deploy, hypercare)
• 8+ years of SAP Service Management experience
• Demonstrated experience delivering SAP cloud implementations and cloud transformation services
• Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA Service Management processes and best practices
• Hands-on configuration experience across Service Order Management, Service Contracts, Warranty Management, Field Service Management, Resource Scheduling, and Service Parts Management
• Experience leading functional workstreams and managing teams of 10+ resources
• Experience supporting Products and Consumer Goods clients
• Prior consulting or advisory experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
