CGI is seeking a high-potential Advanced SAP S/4HANA Functional Consultant with experience in the SAP ECC or S/4HANA Materials Management (MM) module, or SAP Procurement for Public Sector (PPS). This role focuses on design, configuration, and testing in SAP S/4HANA Public Sector, with opportunities to grow and mentor an agile team within the Request to Procure (R2P) and Procure to Pay (P2P) business process areas of the federal government.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate the implementation of requirements, design solutions, and configure SAP MM for the Public Sector to enhance client business functionality and performance while maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Lead workshops to review business requirements, translate them into system requirements, and identify gaps, issues, and work-around solutions across financial management, procurement, and asset management functions.
- Act as a liaison with clients for troubleshooting, including investigating, analyzing, and resolving software problems, and mapping business requirements to develop necessary product modifications.
- Design, configure, and test PPS and the MM module in SAP S/4HANA to support teams dedicated to R2P and P2P.
- Create Functional Design Documents (FDDs) and support the creation of Technical Design Documents (TDDs) and To-Be process designs for SAP S/4HANA solutions.
- Serve as a primary resource for SAP S/4HANA implementations, providing functional expertise, guidance, presentations, and instruction on SAP products to clients.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a DHS EOD/Public Trust clearance.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 9 years of SAP consulting experience in materials management or procurement.
- Expertise in financial management best practices, including demonstrations, test scripts, and functional/technical design documents.
- Expertise in configuration and implementation of MM or PPS in SAP.
- Strong knowledge of federal procurement processes, including familiarity with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), request packages, and requisition types.
- Knowledge of key integration points between SAP modules.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to analyze problems and provide clear recommendations.
- Strong organizational skills.
Qualifications (Preferred)
- Experience using SAP Activate methodology.
- End-to-end SAP implementation experience.
- Certification in SAP S/4HANA.
- Experience integrating with SAP application areas such as Materials Management (MM), Supplier Relationship Management (SRM), Project Systems (PS), and Funds Management (FM).
Schedule
This position is hybrid, requiring work in a CGI Federal office two days per week. Available office locations include Fairfax, VA; Lebanon, VA; Lafayette, LA; or Knoxville, TN.
Pay
A reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role in the U.S. is $100,800.00 - $245,500.00.
