SAP S/4HANA Functional Consultant – FI (AA and CM) - U.S. Citizenship Required

About the role

The Senior SAP S/4HANA Functional Consultant will work closely with clients to lead workshops, understand requirements, design and present solutions, configure SAP, and complete full lifecycle software implementations related to Asset Accounting and Cost Management business processes within the federal government.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate workshops to review business requirements and translate them into system requirements; identify gaps, issues, and work-around solutions across financial management, asset management, and cost management functions.
  • Act as a liaison with clients for troubleshooting: investigate, analyze, and resolve software problems; map client business requirements, processes, and objectives; and develop necessary product modifications to meet client needs.
  • Design, configure, and implement SAP FI Asset Accounting and Cost Management modules in SAP S/4HANA.
  • Create Functional Design Documents (FDDs) and support the creation of Technical Design Documents (TDDs) and To-Be process designs for SAP S/4HANA solutions.
  • Serve as a primary contributor to the successful implementation of SAP S/4HANA by providing functional expertise, guidance, presentations, and instruction on SAP products to clients.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3–5 years of SAP consulting experience in FI/CO, specifically in Asset Accounting and Cost Management.
  • Knowledge of financial management best practices, including demos, scripts, and functional/technical design documents.
  • Experience in configuration and implementation of SAP FI/CO.
  • Knowledge of key integration points between SAP modules.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present and discuss strategies and technical information in a manner that builds rapport and fosters understanding among technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to analyze problems and provide clear recommendations.
  • Strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • To be considered for this role, candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a DHS EOD/Public Trust clearance.

Skills

  • Experience using SAP Activate methodology.
  • Experience with end-to-end SAP implementations.
  • SAP S/4HANA certification.
  • Experience integrating with SAP application areas, including FI/CO.

Benefits

This role is located in one of CGI Federal's offices in Fairfax, VA, Lebanon, VA, Lafayette, LA or Knoxville, TN; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable. Your future duties and responsibilities include facilitating the implementation of requirements, designing solutions, and configuring SAP FI Asset Accounting and Cost Management modules for the Public Sector to enhance client business functionality and performance while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Pay

A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $89,600.00 - $194,000.00.
