SAP S/4 Technical Architecture Lead

About the Role

This position covers Basis, Security, Governance Risk & Compliance (GRC), Development, Integration, and Analytics in a hybrid work environment based in Marysville, OH.

Responsibilities

• Define the target-state technical architecture across S/4HANA, BTP, Datasphere, SAC, Cloud ALM, Integration Suite, security, and custom application landscapes.
• Support migration strategies, technical standards, and modernization roadmaps from ECC, BW, Solution Manager, and PI/PO.
• Support architecture review boards; approve technical solution designs and enforce standards.
• Define and govern S/4HANA landscape architecture, including environments, transport management, release management, scalability, and high availability/disaster recovery (HA/DR).
• Enforce Clean Core principles around extensibility, integration, and operations.
• Define API-led, event-driven, and hybrid integration patterns on SAP BTP.
• Define development architecture, engineering standards, and DevOps practices.
• Provide security and compliance solution leadership.

Requirements

• S/4 certification preferred.
• 10–15+ years of experience in Development, Basis, Security, and GRC.
• Technical architecture experience with the SAP suite of products; hands-on SAP Basis experience desired.
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure and Security & GRC required.
• Experience with Business Technical Platform Integration Suite required.
• Knowledge in SAP Cloud ALM required.
