SAP S/4 Technical Architecture Lead #26-21030

12-month contract position.

Responsibilities

• Systems implementation including requirements/process analysis, conceptual and detailed designs, configuration, testing, training, change management, and support.
• Leadership and team facilitation in a consulting capacity, including business case development, business analysis, process mapping, business process redesign, and implementation.
• Technical leadership as a Senior Technical Lead in SAP development, including ABAP, CDS Views, OData, Fiori Element Applications, SAPUI5, and related technologies.
• Project management using ACTIVATE SAP Implementation Methodologies, including RICEWF requirements gathering, development estimates, project staffing, functional & technical specification development, and management reporting.
• Implementation of coding standards, ABAP code reviews, and collaboration with onsite and offshore development teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Systems implementation skills including requirements/process analysis, conceptual and detailed designs, configuration, testing, training, change management, and support.
• Strong leadership, communication (verbal and written), analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel.

• SAP Development (10+ years):
  • ABAP and Object-Oriented ABAP.
  • Creating and extending CDS Views with complex associations, publishing to OData, and consuming in Fiori Element Applications.
  • Creating SAPUI5 custom apps and Fiori Element apps with UI annotations (knowledge of BOPF framework preferred).
  • Extending Standard Apps (UI5 and SADL-based Fiori Element Apps).
  • OData creation, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Creating tiles, catalogs, and groups for deployed apps and displaying them in Launchpad.
  • Troubleshooting Fiori Apps, understanding errors, and finding solutions.
  • SAP Cloud Platform (SAP Business Technology Platform) setup, including cloud connectors, destinations, and services, as well as deploying apps to backend systems.
  • Module Pool and Function Modules.
  • Data conversion tools.
  • Interface technologies (BAPIs, IDOCs, ALE).
  • Enhancements (user exits, BADIs).
  • Transport Management Strategies.
  • Web Dynpro for ABAP and/or Web Dynpro for Java.
