SAP RAR Functional Consultant

About the role

We are seeking an experienced SAP RAR Functional Support Analyst to provide post go-live production support for a subscription billing modernization project migrating from legacy platforms to SAP. The analyst will serve as the primary support owner for SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) processes, ensuring accurate revenue contract creation, event processing, allocation, posting, and reconciliation across wholesale, retail, and subscription scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Provide production support for SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) processes
• Ensure accurate revenue contract creation, event processing, allocation, posting, and reconciliation
• Handle incident management, root cause analysis, and reconciliation
• Analyze end-to-end impacts across billing, SAP processing, and accounting results
• Document and communicate support activities and findings

Requirements

• Strong functional experience in SAP RAR
• Knowledge of revenue recognition concepts (contract modification, allocation, deferral, timing)
• Experience in production support, incident handling, and root cause analysis

Skills

• Strong communication and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in subscription billing or recurring revenue models
• Knowledge of ASC 606 / IFRS 15
• Experience in legacy modernization to SAP
• Familiarity with interface-driven SAP landscapes
• Exposure to hypercare and steady-state support models
