Responsibilities

  • Own and mature end-to-end program governance for the company's enterprise SAP implementation, including decision logs, escalation paths, and change-control processes.
  • Build and roll out a RACI framework that clarifies ownership across the internal technical team and external systems integrator partner.
  • Partner with the systems integrator and technical consulting partners to structure a resourcing model that scales up and down with implementation phases.
  • Facilitate cross-functional alignment across Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, HR, and other business stakeholders with competing priorities.
  • Develop and maintain program-level roadmaps, resource plans, and capacity models to support scaling decisions.
  • Drive intake, prioritization, and business-justification requirements for new project requests and scope changes.
  • Present program status, risks, and key decisions to executive and business stakeholders in clear, business-friendly formats.
  • Document and formalize the program's operating model and governance structure where formal documentation does not yet exist.
  • Support and unblock the internal technical delivery team without directing day-to-day team management.
  • Manage relationships with the systems integrator and other technical consulting vendors.
  • Provide regular readouts to leadership on program health, risks, and upcoming milestones.

Requirements

  • 5+ years managing large-scale SAP implementation programs (or comparable large enterprise ERP programs).
  • Hands-on experience across multiple SAP functional modules, including: Financials (FI), Procure-to-Pay, Manufacturing / Production Planning, Materials Management.
  • Familiarity with SAP Activate or a comparable structured implementation methodology.
  • Demonstrated experience building program governance frameworks (RACI, decision logs, change control) from scratch in an ambiguous or undocumented environment.
  • Strong executive communication and presentation skills, with a proven ability to translate technical program status into clear, business-facing narratives.
  • Experience partnering with systems integrators or external delivery partners in a flexible, scaling resource model.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

Qualifications

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Skills

  • Experience in high-growth or fast-scaling technology environments.
  • Background helping organizations transition from informal, ad hoc processes to structured governance.
  • Comfortable navigating cross-functional political dynamics without becoming embroiled in them.
  • Prior experience serving in a strategic/governance capacity alongside — not in place of — a separate technical product or delivery manager.
  • Familiarity with Smartsheet and ServiceNow.
  • Experience in an emerging or deep-tech sector.

Benefits

  • Remote-friendly option for the contract phase; in-office presence (with relocation, if applicable) is expected if the role converts to full-time.
  • This role is starting as an initial 6-month contract, with the intent to convert to a full-time position based on performance and business need.
