SAP P2P Functional Consultant/ Lead

About the role

This role requires end-to-end process knowledge on Procure to Pay, as well as understanding of other functional areas like Order to Cash, Receiving, and Finance. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in the Purchasing area, including configuration, Material Master, and Vendor Master.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements by conducting information-gathering sessions with clients and documenting an accurate understanding of their business requirements
• Map business requirements to SAP business processes and make recommendations for selection of appropriate SAP business processes
• Support business justification in planning, testing, and performing upgrades/migrations for assigned functional areas
• Perform functionality testing, including unit, integration, system, regression, and dry run testing
• Work closely with business decision makers and end users to provide strong customer-facing experience and skills

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of Purchasing area, including Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Contracts, Purchasing Info Records, Source List, and STO
• Experience with Deliveries, Goods Receipts, and invoices
• Knowledge of Version Management and Workflow process in purchasing area
• Experience with Repairs, Subcontracting, Direct and Drop ship process
• Knowledge of highly customized purchasing documents, purchasing custom reports, and enhancements and integration in purchasing area

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to document an accurate understanding of business requirements and map them to SAP business processes.
