SAP P2P Consultant

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements (functional, technical, information needs, business processes) through information‑gathering sessions with clients, document accurate understanding and map to SAP business processes.
• Make recommendations for selection of appropriate SAP business processes to meet client requirements effectively.
• Support business justification in planning, testing and performing upgrades/migrations for assigned functional areas, or assist external vendors performing upgrades.
• Perform functionality testing using unit, integration, system, regression and dry‑run testing methodologies, processes and tools.
• Work closely with business decision makers and end users as a customer‑facing resource.

Requirements

• End‑to‑end process knowledge of Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P).
• Understanding of related functional areas: Order‑to‑Cash (O2C), Receiving (RTS) and Finance.
• Extensive knowledge of Purchasing area configuration.
• Knowledge of how Material Master and Vendor Master influence Purchasing Documents and impact other workstreams on P2P processes.
• Extensive knowledge and associated functionalities of Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Contracts, Purchasing Info Records, Source List, STO, Deliveries, Goods Receipts and Invoices.
• Experience with Version Management and Workflow processes in the purchasing area.
• Knowledge of Repairs, Subcontracting, Direct and Drop‑ship processes.
• Experience with highly customized purchasing documents, purchasing custom reports, and knowledge of enhancements and integration in the purchasing area.
