SAP OTC/Vistex Solution Architect

About the role
Strategic and hands-on SAP OTC / Vistex Solution Architect with strong expertise in Order-to-Cash and Vistex solutions. This role will lead the architecture for SAP OTC capabilities, focusing on scalable design, system integrations, and supporting business transformation in a healthcare distribution environment. The ideal candidate should be able to connect business needs with practical system solutions, working across SAP and non-SAP systems to ensure smooth integration with warehousing, logistics, and finance.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end architecture for SAP OTC processes including Order Management, Pricing, Billing, and Returns.
- Architect and guide Vistex solutions covering rebates, chargebacks, and pricing programs.
- Define scalable solutions aligned with SAP S/4HANA roadmap and enterprise standards.
- Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Drive design and optimization of core OTC processes including order capture, pricing, contracts, billing, and revenue recognition.
- Ensure solutions are aligned with healthcare distribution and 3PL operating models.
- Lead integrations across SAP ERP (ECC / S/4HANA), warehouse systems (SAP EWM / other WMS), EDI transactions (850, 856, 810, 861), and external platforms.
- Ensure reliable and consistent data flow across the order-to-cash lifecycle.
- Lead implementation and enhancement of Vistex processes including rebates, chargebacks, billbacks, and pricing agreements.
- Ensure solutions are compliant, scalable, and aligned with business requirements.
- Oversee design and delivery of RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflow).
- Ensure custom developments follow architectural standards and are maintainable.
- Lead workshops, requirement discussions, and solution validation.
- Support testing cycles (SIT, UAT) and go-live readiness.
- Ensure alignment with Agile delivery and ITIL processes for change and incident management.
- Work closely with business teams, IT, and external partners including 3PL providers.
- Drive discussions, support decision-making, and mentor junior team members.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in SAP OTC / SD.
- Strong experience in ECC & S/4HANA solution design.
- Good understanding of pricing, billing, and contract processes.
- Hands-on experience with rebates, chargebacks, billbacks, and incentive programs.
- Experience working on Vistex implementations or enhancements.
- Experience with EDI (850, 856, 810, 861).
- Familiarity with middleware (SAP CPI / PI / PO).
- Experience integrating with EWM or other warehouse systems.
- Experience in healthcare, medical distribution, or 3PL environments preferred.
- Exposure to regulated environments is a plus.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work across teams and drive decisions.
- Comfortable working in global, matrixed environments.

- Experience with IBP integration.
- Exposure to analytics tools like Snowflake or Power BI.
- Experience in large SAP transformation programs.

Pay
The anticipated pay range for this role is up to $160,000 per year. The actual compensation offered may vary based on job-related factors such as experience, skills, education, and location.
