About the role
SAP NS2 is seeking a highly motivated, self-directed professional to fill the role of a functional application architect in Chantilly, VA.
Responsibilities
- Work well with a team and have the desire and aptitude to learn new software, cloud applications and information technology concepts.
- Works closely with customer end users and developers to translate current processes into requirements for configuration and development of new functionality.
- Collaborates with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance.
- Serves as a liaison between technical team and the stakeholders.
- Designs and develops new functions or improves existing ones.
- Gathers and analyzes requirements to design or enhance new processes to improve user experience.
- Interfaces with senior leadership for guidance on information strategy, vision, and priorities.
- Creates documentation such as requirements specifications, test scripts, user guides, and help files.
- Performs quality assurance testing of new software releases to ensure that they meet stated requirements.
- Provides technical support to end users and helps them troubleshoot issues with software applications.
Requirements
Must be able to obtain and maintain a clearance.
Must be a U.S. citizen.
Qualifications
- 2-5 years, working as part of a team as a consultant; to Intel customers a plus.
- Prior experience with enterprise software or cloud applications, e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft, AWS, Google.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, or Engineering (e.g., Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems), or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
