SAP NS2 Application Security-Onsite - Chantilly, VA

About the role

We are seeking an SAP Application Security Consultant who will manage and enhance our clients' SAP applications in a secure cloud environment. The role involves designing, configuring, and maintaining SAP roles, troubleshooting security issues, and providing training to clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage SAP application security for client's SAP landscape, from development to production.
• Design, configure, and maintain SAP roles (composite and single).
• Participate in role redesign projects during upgrades or business transformations.
• Deep understanding of SAP authorization concepts for SAP S/4 HANA systems.
• Implement and maintain application security, including minor enhancements and support pack/version upgrades.
• Effectively troubleshoot and resolve SAP Application Security errors/exceptions.
• Stay updated on SAP S/4 HANA advancements and emerging security authorization concepts.
• Understand and address risks associated with application security vulnerabilities.
• Support, develop, and train junior team members.
• Provide SAP security technical training to client counterparts, as needed.

Requirements

• 4-10 years' experience managing SAP application security.
• Knowledge or previous work experience in managing SAP applications in a cloud environment.
• Ability to design, configure, develop, and maintain SAP roles.
• Experience in application security implementation and maintenance.
• Understanding of SOX, SOD, and SAP IT General Computer Controls.
• BA/BS Degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Security, Engineering, or Information Technology.

Additional Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship with active TS/SCI clearance.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a clearance.
• Full-time position, on-site only due to security requirements.
