SAP Integration Architect

About the Role

Lead the design and development of enterprise-level SAP integration solutions that connect SAP systems with other business applications. Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to development teams throughout the integration lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise-level SAP integration solutions connecting SAP systems with other business applications.
• Lead architecture and technical design for end-to-end SAP and non-SAP system integrations.
• Implement integration solutions using SAP technologies such as PI/PO, CPI, BTP, IDocs, RFCs, and APIs.
• Define and enforce integration standards, best practices, and governance frameworks to ensure scalable, maintainable solutions.
• Collaborate with business and functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.
• Oversee development, testing, deployment, and support of integration solutions, ensuring system performance, security, and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues; conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
• Document technical architecture, integration flows, and design specifications; maintain comprehensive technical documentation and runbooks.
• Conduct knowledge transfer and training sessions for technical and business stakeholders.
• Stay current with SAP integration trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement and digital transformation.
• Optimize existing integration flows for enhanced performance and reliability.
• Ensure alignment of integration solutions with enterprise architecture principles and business objectives.
• Support SAP landscape transformations, upgrades, migrations, and cloud/hybrid integrations.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration with IT, Finance, Operations, and business stakeholders.
• Contribute to operational excellence and strategic digital initiatives across the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in SAP integration architecture and implementation.
• Proven track record of delivering successful integration projects.
• Experience with SAP technologies such as PI/PO, CPI, BTP, IDocs, RFCs, and APIs.
• Strong understanding of integration standards, best practices, and governance frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with business and functional teams.
• Knowledge of SAP landscape transformations, upgrades, migrations, and cloud/hybrid integrations is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in SAP ABAP, PI/PO, CPI, BTP, IDocs, RFCs, and APIs.
• Experience with integration tools and platforms such as MuleSoft, Informatica, or Talend.
• Understanding of data mapping, transformation, and validation techniques.
• Experience with SAP Fiori, UI5, and SAPUI5.
