SAP Integration Architect

Location: Parsippany, NJ (Onsite) – Long-term contract position.

About the role

We are seeking an SAP Integration Architect with 15+ years of SAP experience to establish a validated integration inventory, document application and data dependencies, assess integration technologies and middleware, and define future-state integration architecture. The role involves identifying undocumented or shadow integrations, validating integration ownership, assessing architectural risks and technical debt, and delivering a prioritized modernization roadmap.

Responsibilities

• Review integrations across SAP ECC, SAP BW, SAP GRC, Boomi, Workday, ReadSoft, Data Warehouse, banking systems, and third-party partners.
• Validate existing interfaces and build a complete integration catalog.
• Document upstream and downstream system dependencies.
• Evaluate Dell Boomi patterns, design quality, and monitoring capabilities.
• Analyze end-to-end data movement and integration patterns.
• Identify business and technical owners for each interface.
• Highlight vulnerabilities, legacy mechanisms, and areas of technical debt.
• Conduct deep-dive discovery meetings and facilitate workshops to define modernization opportunities and target architecture principles.
• Develop Boomi scripts and support Boomi as part of the role.

Requirements

• 15+ years of SAP experience with a focus on SAP Integration and Enterprise Integration.
• Strong experience with BTP IS and hands-on Boomi experience.
• Proven expertise in interface discovery, establishing integration inventories, and documenting dependencies.
• Ability to assess integration technologies, identify risks, and evaluate modernization opportunities.
• Excellent communication skills and prior experience designing future-state integration landscapes.
