Role Overview

The consultant serves as the functional Subject Matter Expert (SME) for SAP Finance, responsible for designing, configuring, and supporting financial accounting processes in SAP S/4HANA. The role works closely with Finance, Tax, Treasury, Procurement, Sales, and technical teams to deliver end-to-end finance solutions and support financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and support: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Bank Accounting, and Financial Closing and Reporting
  • Support multi-company, multi-currency, and intercompany accounting environments
  • Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close activities

Must-Have Skills

  • SAP FI Configuration (GL/AP/AR/AA/Bank)
  • SAP S/4HANA Finance
  • US Banking Integrations (ACH, Wire, Lockbox, EBS)
  • Automatic Payment Program (F110)
  • Vertex or Tax Engine Experience
  • Budgeting & Planning Solutions (CO/BPC/SAC/FM)
  • Intercompany Accounting
  • Multi-currency & Parallel Ledger Accounting
  • Financial Close & Reconciliation
  • FI-MM and FI-SD Integration

Pay

  • Pay Range: $105,000 – $184,000 per year
  • Performance-based bonuses eligible (subject to company policies)
