SAP FI/CO Business Systems Analyst - Onsite in Aliso Viejo, CA

About the role

The Senior FI/CO SAP Business Analyst is a senior-level functional and technical expert responsible for designing, configuring, enhancing, and supporting SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling solutions within a Life Sciences (GxP-regulated) environment. This role serves as a critical liaison between Finance, Controlling, Quality, Compliance, and IT, ensuring SAP solutions are financially accurate, compliant, audit-ready, and scalable.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, enhance, and support SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling solutions
• Ensure SAP solutions are financially accurate, compliant, audit-ready, and scalable
• Serve as a critical liaison between Finance, Controlling, Quality, Compliance, and IT
• Understand that process design, validation, and compliance are inseparable from system delivery in Life Sciences
• Deep functional expertise in SAP FICO
• Hands-on technical and development capabilities, including ABAP-supported enhancements, integrations, data migration, and reporting

Requirements

• Proven experience in SAP FICO and related modules
• Hands-on experience with ABAP programming and ABAP-based enhancements
• Experience with data migration and reporting in SAP environments
• Strong understanding of GxP regulations and their impact on SAP implementations
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, particularly with cross-functional teams
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in SAP implementation and/or consulting
• Professional certifications such as SAP Certified ScrumMaster, SAP Certified Implementation Consultant, or equivalent

Skills

Pay

• Base salary range: $100,000 - $150,000 annually
