SAP EWM Lead Functional Analyst

About the role
We are seeking a Lead SAP S/4 EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) Functional Consultant with over 15 years of experience to join our supply chain team. In this role, you will act as a subject matter expert, driving the design, configuration, and deployment of complex warehouse solutions. Candidates must relocate to Dallas, Texas, within three weeks of offer acceptance and work on-site five days a week at our corporate office (7834 CF Hawn Freeway, Dallas, Texas 75217). This is a direct hire role; we do not provide sponsorship, relocation assistance, or contractor/agency employment.
Responsibilities
- Act as the lead individual contributor and functional expert on all SAP S/4 EWM 2023 deployment initiatives.
- Lead blueprinting workshops to translate complex warehouse requirements into scalable SAP S/4 EWM blueprints.
- Perform hands-on configuration of S/4 EWM processes including inbound/outbound processing, production staging, kitting, physical inventory, and wave management.
- Implement advanced S/4 EWM functionalities like Yard Management, Labor Management, Slotting, and Material Flow Systems (MFS).
- Participate in cutover planning, legacy data migration, and hyper care support for high-volume manufacturing facilities.
- Provide task-related advice and direction to junior team members as needed.
- Perform other duties as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience.
- 6-8 years of relevant experience or equivalent education and/or experience (15+ years preferred for the lead role).
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of ERP applications, system development life cycle, and IT practices.
- Technical SAP knowledge, including ABAP programming language, BAPI, IDoc, ALV, SAPscript, batch input, Smart Forms, LSMW, job scheduling, and implementation of OSS notes.
- Technical knowledge of SAP authorizations, Java, and SAP NetWeaver is a plus.
- Knowledge of EAI/integration principles is a plus.
- General knowledge of SAP business processes and modules.

Schedule
- Hybrid structure: On-site 4 days a week at our corporate office in Dallas, Texas.
- Remote flexibility: 1 day a week of remote work.
- Travel expectation: Available for on-site travel to distribution centers during critical project phases, cutovers, and go-live events.
