Overview

The Infosys Manufacturing unit specializes in innovative digital solutions for the Automotive, Aerospace, Defense, and Industrial Manufacturing sectors. As a Package Consultant 2, your responsibilities include:

Area Of Responsibility

• Participate in requirements gathering with stakeholders across business units and assist in validating specifications.
• Contribute to solution architecture design by assisting in customizing modules and features of ERP packages based on detailed business requirements.
• Develop and integrate new features into existing applications, conduct code reviews, and maintain the codebase for stability and compliance.
• Participate in system integration efforts by configuring interfaces, executing ETL processes, and ensuring consistent data flow between ERP and other applications.
• Audit ERP system performance to identify enhancement opportunities and ensure customizations comply with security measures and regulatory standards.
• Develop comprehensive documentation for ERP customizations and deliver user training to facilitate effective knowledge transfer.

Required Skill And Experience

• Experience in Development/Configuration/ Solutions evaluation/Validation and deployment.
• Experience in SAP Business Process Consulting, problem definition, Architecture/Design/Detailing of Processes.
• Experience in SAP Material Management and Inventory Management, including configuring and customizing processes such as Purchasing, Inventory Management, Material Requirement Planning, Variant Configuration, Valuation, and IS Auto-specific processes like JIT, S2L, and Kanban.
• Knowledge of RF scanning devices and experience with MM and EWM integration points with SD, PP, and FI/CO modules.
• Minimum 1 S4 HANA greenfield end-to-end implementation knowledge.
• Knowledge on WRICEF, EDI, Idocs, batch processing in MM and EWM, and MM integration with sales, finance, production, and SCM (APO) modules.
• Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the business.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with experience in project management and high-impact communication with senior stakeholders.
• Three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

Preferred Skill And Experience

• Experience with project management.
• Travel to client warehouses for 4 weeks at a stretch to support SAP product certifications (a plus).

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
