SAP Enterprise Portfolio & Project Management (EPPM) Manager - CMT Industry
About the role
We are looking for an experienced SAP EPPM Consultant/Manager to lead end-to-end implementations of SAP Project Systems (PS), Portfolio and Project Management (PPM), and S/4HANA Project Management across capital-intensive industries including Energy, Engineering & Construction, and Manufacturing.

Responsibilities
- Lead full-lifecycle SAP EPPM implementations—blueprint through go-live.
- Configure SAP PS structures: WBS, networks, milestones, cost planning, budgeting, and settlement.
- Design project accounting flows including cost allocation, forecasting, and revenue recognition.
- Facilitate design workshops with PMO leadership, project controllers, and finance stakeholders.
- Integrate EPPM with FI/CO, MM, PM, HR, and SD modules.
- Advise on S/4HANA migration, SAP Fiori project management, and SAC portfolio reporting.
- Lead SIT, UAT, and cutover planning; develop configuration and test documentation.
- Mentor junior consultants and build client capability throughout the engagement.
- Travel may be required for this role (0% to 100% depending on business need and client requirements).
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on SAP PS / EPPM implementation experience.
- Minimum of 3 full-cycle implementations in a functional lead capacity.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with deep SAP PS configuration expertise—WBS, networks, budgeting, settlement, and cost planning.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with strong SAP EPPM knowledge—portfolio planning, capacity management, financial integration.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with S/4HANA Project Management including Fiori-based project control.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with project accounting fundamentals—cost centers, internal orders, revenue recognition (IFRS 15).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working in the Communication, Media & Technology Industry.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (12 years) work experience (If an Associate’s Degree, 6 years of work experience).
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP Commercial Project Management (CPM) and SAC reporting exposure.
- SAP certification in PS, S/4HANA Finance, or PPM.
- Prior Big 4 or Tier 1 consulting background.
Pay
Compensation varies by location. The following ranges are provided as required by local law:
- California: $70,350 to $205,800
- Cleveland: $59,100 to $164,600
- Colorado: $63,800 to $177,800
- District of Columbia: $68,000 to $189,300
- Illinois: $59,100 to $177,800
- Maine: $54,400 to $151,400
- Maryland: $63,800 to $177,800
- Massachusetts: $63,800 to $189,300
- Minnesota: $63,800 to $177,800
- New York: $66,300 to $205,800
- New Jersey: $68,000 to $205,800
- Virginia: $59,100 to $189,300
- Washington: $80,200 to $189,300
