SAP Document Management System (DMS) Expert

About the role

We are seeking an experienced SAP Document Management System (DMS) Expert for a short-term engagement with SAP Canada. The consultant will review and validate the proposed DMS architecture and collaborate closely with the technical team to conduct a Proof of Concept (PoC). The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise with SAP DMS architecture, integration, and solution design, along with the ability to assess technical approaches and provide clear recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Review and validate the proposed SAP DMS architecture.
• Assess the architecture against business and technical requirements.
• Provide expert recommendations and identify potential gaps, risks, and areas for improvement.
• Work closely with the technical team to plan and execute a Proof of Concept (PoC).
• Validate the recommended architecture through practical technical implementation and testing.
• Provide guidance on SAP DMS configuration, integration, and technical considerations.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, and technical stakeholders throughout the PoC.
• Document findings, recommendations, and outcomes from the architecture validation and PoC.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP DMS (Document Management System).
• Proven experience in SAP solution architecture and technical design.
• Experience evaluating and validating SAP DMS architectures.
• Hands-on experience working with Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and technical validations.
• Strong understanding of SAP integrations and enterprise application architecture.
• Ability to work closely with technical teams and provide clear architectural guidance.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
