About the role

Responsible for recommending and advising direction on supply chain technology solutions, leading project implementations, and technical design solutions for specific SAP modules and functional/business areas. Understands the business strategy of functions such as Materials Management, Production Planning, Demand, and Supply Planning. Works with the business to define requirements, create functional specifications, and deliver system configuration to enhance performance. Communicates and coordinates with team leads, business leadership, and Project Owners to ensure integration across the enterprise.

Responsibilities

  • Provide the highest levels of production support to materials management, production planning, demand, and supply planning, collaborating with internal and external resources.
  • Lead solution designs, enhancements, and sustainability in materials management, production planning, and IBP suite (Demand Forecasting, Supply Planning, Inventory Optimization, and Control Tower).
  • Provide technical and functional expertise to develop designs supporting Technical Developers in ECC and IBP solutions based on business needs (RICEFW objects and customizations).
  • Participate in functional and technical reviews to validate designs for SAP and non-SAP solutions in Materials Management, Production Planning, and IBP suite.
  • Recommend and execute strategies to solve complex business issues.
  • Anticipate and manage stakeholder needs; develop solutions to support Supply Chain Integrated Business Planning.
  • Support execution of MM, PP, Demand, and Supply Planning in test scripts and defect resolution.
  • Understand end-user business needs, define requirements using SAP templates, and communicate these to SAP functional teams.
  • Deal effectively with ambiguous and unstructured problems.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Logistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of related work experience.
  • At least 5 full lifecycle implementations of SAP ECC.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing plant personnel with day-to-day ERP system processes.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and a process improvement mindset.
  • Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

MBA in a related field preferred.
