SAP Developer Contractor

Contractor role focused on SAP ABAP development for S/4HANA, Fiori/UI5, and RAP solutions supporting supply chain, product sourcing, and quotation management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and customize SAP applications using ABAP and related SAP development tools
• Build and support RAP and SAP Fiori/UI5 solutions
• Design and implement interfaces and integrations between SAP and external systems
• Translate functional requirements into technical specifications and solution designs
• Troubleshoot, debug, test, and resolve issues in SAP applications and integrations
• Maintain technical documentation, including code comments, design documents, and support materials
• Collaborate with business analysts, functional teams, and stakeholders in an Agile environment
• Use tools such as Jira, Confluence, Teams, Zoom, GitHub/GitLab, and related collaboration platforms
• Support CI/CD practices and continuous improvement efforts

Requirements

• 10+ years of SAP ABAP experience
• Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA
• Strong experience with SAP Fiori/UI5
• Experience with RAP — RESTful ABAP Programming Model
• Experience designing, testing, and maintaining SAP applications and interfaces
• Experience translating functional specs into technical specs
• Experience with Agile/Scrum or Kanban methodologies
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a virtual team
• U.S. citizenship required
• Must be near a Deloitte US Office
• Approximately 20% travel required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP BTP, including Integration Suite, API Hub, and API Management
• Experience with CAP — Cloud Application Programming Model
• Experience with SAP Ariba, product sourcing, or quotation management
• Experience with Solution Manager, Focused Build, or ChaRM
• Experience with GitHub/GitLab and CI/CD tooling

Pay

$90–$100 per hour (exact rate varies based on skills, experience, and location).
