SAP Consultant Contractor

Key responsibilities

• Gather and document business requirements for SAP GTS projects
• Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications
• Support system design, configuration, build, testing, and deployment activities
• Analyze business processes and recommend improvements and automation opportunities
• Troubleshoot SAP application and integration issues
• Create and maintain documentation for configurations, customizations, and process flows
• Cookordinate with project teams, clients, and stakeholders to deliver milestones on time
• Support solution design to meet business process and reporting needs
• Develop training materials and support end-user training
• Ensure SAP GTS solutions comply with applicable regulations, standards, and policies
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and business teams to support delivery
• Contribute to the SAP GTS practice as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of SAP GTS project implementation experience
• Strong knowledge of SAP GTS in one or more of the following areas: Compliance Management, Customs Management, and Trade Preference
• Good understanding of supply chain management processes
• Strong analytical and modeling skills
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in an international, multicultural environment
• Willingness to travel up to 20%
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, STEM, information systems, computer science, business, finance, international relations, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA or ECC modules such as Sales and Distribution, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Material Master, and Transportation Management
• Technical knowledge of ABAP, SAP PI, or similar SAP technologies
• Proficiency in PowerPoint, MS Project, Access, Excel, and/or Visio
• Experience presenting to clients or senior decision makers
• Knowledge of export regulations, including ITAR/EAR
• Interest in international trade or international business
• Strong research, writing, verbal communication, and project management skills
• Able to design practical, leading-practice solutions
• Strong attention to detail and understanding of end-to-end process design
• Strong organizational skills and ability to self-manage time and tasks
• Able to manage client and cross-functional team expectations
