Key responsibilities
- Gather and document business requirements for SAP GTS projects
- Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications
- Support system design, configuration, build, testing, and deployment activities
- Analyze business processes and recommend improvements and automation opportunities
- Troubleshoot SAP application and integration issues
- Create and maintain documentation for configurations, customizations, and process flows
- Cookordinate with project teams, clients, and stakeholders to deliver milestones on time
- Support solution design to meet business process and reporting needs
- Develop training materials and support end-user training
- Ensure SAP GTS solutions comply with applicable regulations, standards, and policies
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and business teams to support delivery
- Contribute to the SAP GTS practice as needed
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of SAP GTS project implementation experience
- Strong knowledge of SAP GTS in one or more of the following areas: Compliance Management, Customs Management, and Trade Preference
- Good understanding of supply chain management processes
- Strong analytical and modeling skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in an international, multicultural environment
- Willingness to travel up to 20%
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, STEM, information systems, computer science, business, finance, international relations, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA or ECC modules such as Sales and Distribution, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Material Master, and Transportation Management
- Technical knowledge of ABAP, SAP PI, or similar SAP technologies
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, MS Project, Access, Excel, and/or Visio
- Experience presenting to clients or senior decision makers
- Knowledge of export regulations, including ITAR/EAR
- Interest in international trade or international business
- Strong research, writing, verbal communication, and project management skills
- Able to design practical, leading-practice solutions
- Strong attention to detail and understanding of end-to-end process design
- Strong organizational skills and ability to self-manage time and tasks
- Able to manage client and cross-functional team expectations
