SAP Data Services Tester

Responsibilities

• Translating functional blueprints and requirements into executable test scenarios.
• Carrying out unit, integration, performance, and regression testing.
• Troubleshooting bugs, managing test data, and tracing defects using tools like SAP Solution Manager or SAP Cloud ALM.
• Bridging the gap between developers and end-users to ensure go-live readiness and client approval.
• Writing and executing test scripts with cross-process functionality in SAP and performing end-to-end testing across multiple SAP modules.
• Collaborating with the technical team to identify, document, and resolve issues identified during test execution.
• Developing test strategies and managing large, complex test efforts.
• Participating in test planning, identifying scope and duration of testing for each phase of testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology.
• 1 to 3 years of SAP S/4HANA testing experience.
• Experience with at least one full-cycle S/4HANA implementation.
• Knowledge of functional domains (e.g., SD, MM, FICO, or EWM) and their standard transaction codes.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in test automation tools such as Tricentis Tosca, Worksoft Certify, or OpenText UFT One.

Skills

• Experience with Agile environments.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Data mapping expertise.

Physical Requirements

The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations; must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. The person in this position will need to be able to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.

Clearance Requirements

Must be a U.S. Citizen and be willing to obtain and maintain a Public Trust suitability and undergo a Tier 2 Investigation for DoD Common Access Card (CAC) eligibility prior to starting this position.
