SAP Data Quality Analyst

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist in various projects related to Workshop, Configuration, Requirement Gathering, Implementation, Support etc.
• Work closely with a team of experienced professionals to work with customers in implementing proposed Data governance processes.
• Review data profiling results and define data quality metrics with business understanding of master data and SAP data structures.
• Facilitate business discussions to define data quality rules (e.g., for customer, material, supplier, assets, equipment).
• Review profiling results with business and IT, identify data quality business rules to be developed in Information Steward.
• Design data quality rules preferred.
• Work independently on projects and lead project technically.
• Assist in day-to-day operations of customer discussions regarding design and development, recommend best practice solutions.
• Analyze technical requirements and environments.
• Support activities needed to implement and maintain security policy & regulator guidelines.
• Analyze and document technical requirements.
• Collaborate with Application Owner, other Enterprise Architect group and Technical Architects to define and describe solutions.
• Engage directly with customers to provide support and understand customer needs.
• Respond to internal and external compliance audits, penetration tests and vulnerability assessments.
• Lead business discussions to specify data quality rules (such as for customer, material, supplier, assets, equipment).

Requirements

• Ability to review data profiling results and define data quality metrics with business understanding of master data and SAP data structures.
• Experience facilitating business discussions to define data quality rules (e.g., for customer, material, supplier, assets, equipment).
• Responsibility for reviewing profiling results with business and IT, identifying data quality business rules to be developed in Information Steward.
• Functional knowledge of SAP S4 and understanding of S4 data model for master data.
• Experience designing data quality rules preferred.
• Ability to work independently on projects and lead project technically.
• Ability to draw & implement Enterprise level architecture.
• Assist in day-to-day operations of customer discussion w.r.t design and development.
• Recommend best practice solutions, based on research of emerging products, services, protocols and standards.
• Works extensively with customers along with appropriate internal and external resources on the strategy/deployment/optimization of Product services and solutions.
• Takes lead role in execution of projects.
• Analyzing Technical requirements and environments.
• Familiarity with adherence to standard change management procedures when introducing technical changes to production environments.
• Support activities needed to implement and maintain security policy & regulator guidelines.
• Analyze and document technical requirements.
• Collaborate with Application Owner, other Enterprise Architect group and Technical Architects to define and describe solutions.
• Strong ability and desire to learn new technologies and capability to drive innovation are absolute must.
• Direct engagement with customers to provide support and understand customer needs.
• Assist in responses to internal and external compliance audits, penetration tests and vulnerability assessments.
• Knowledge of master data and SAP data structures.
• Experience leading business discussions to specify data quality rules (such as for customer, material, supplier, assets, equipment).
