Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of SAP Convergent Mediation workflows.
- Configure and optimize batch and real-time mediation workflows to collect, validate, normalize, enrich, and forward high-volume usage and transactional data to downstream SAP BRIM components.
- Develop and maintain business logic within Analysis agents using the CM scripting language to support complex data transformation, validation, and enrichment requirements specific to media and advertising revenue streams.
- Design and implement error detection, data deduplication, and filtering configurations to prevent revenue leakage and ensure billing accuracy across multiple content distribution and advertising platforms.
- Partner with business stakeholders, IT architects, and functional teams to translate complex billing and revenue recognition requirements into technical mediation solutions.
- Support integration design and troubleshooting between SAP CM and adjacent systems including SAP S/4HANA, SAP Convergent Charging, SAP Convergent Invoicing, and third-party content and ad delivery platforms.
- Perform system testing, regression testing, and production cutover activities, including data validation and reconciliation across the mediation-to-billing pipeline.
- Document solution designs, configuration specifications, workflow diagrams, and operational runbooks for knowledge transfer and ongoing support.
- Provide mentorship and knowledge transfer to client internal teams to build sustainable in-house capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on SAP Convergent Mediation (by DigitalRoute / MediationZone) configuration experience across multiple full-lifecycle implementations.
- Deep understanding of the SAP BRIM architecture and how Convergent Mediation integrates with Convergent Charging (CC), Convergent Invoicing (CI), Subscription Billing, and Contract Accounts Receivable & Payable (FI-CA).
- Proven ability to design and configure CM workflows including agent setup, UDR processing, real-time and batch processing modes, and interworkflow routing.
- Strong proficiency in the CM scripting/analysis language for building custom business logic, data transformation rules, and validation routines.
- Experience configuring ControlZone platform and UI components, including execution contexts, service contexts, and pico process management.
- Demonstrated expertise in troubleshooting mediation pipeline issues, performance optimization, and data reconciliation across the billing chain.
- Experience working in media, entertainment, telecommunications, or similarly complex, high-volume billing environments with diverse revenue models (subscription, usage-based, advertising, hybrid).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical mediation concepts for business and functional stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA integration in the context of BRIM deployments.
- Familiarity with high-availability CM ControlZone cluster configurations (on-premise or cloud-based via AWS, Azure, or SAP RISE).
- Prior exposure to media industry billing models including content licensing, ad revenue, distribution rights, and streaming subscription monetization.
- SAP BRIM or related SAP certifications.
- Experience in SAP RISE or cloud migration contexts for BRIM components.
- Background in adjacent BRIM modules (Convergent Charging rating configuration, Convergent Invoicing billing document setup, or FI-CA postings and payment processing).
