SAP Concur Expense Consultant

Responsibilities

• Work on client’s key operations and business solutions.
• Analyze, design, and develop client information systems and program specifications.
• Participate in the creation of specifications/requirements and the maintenance, design, build, and test phases of systems and applications.
• Provide technical support and analysis for infrastructure projects and production environments.
• Develop upgrade and improvement recommendations.
• Monitor, plan, and measure the impact of new products and services.
• Code, test, and debug applications and programs.
• Participate in application design, including the use of analytical techniques.
• Develop program specifications and detailed design documents.
• Assist in testing, training, and production support.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in Concur Travel & Expense implementation, including in-depth knowledge of Concur configuration (travel booking, expense, and reporting).
• Experience integrating Concur Expense with other systems (e.g., ERP, HR, CRM) to ensure seamless data flow with strong security controls.
• Experience integrating Concur Expense with apps like TripIt, ExpenseIT, and other travel/expense-related tools, including fraud detection, risk management, duty of care, and SOS.
• Experience in Concur Expense configuration and implementation of Federal Travel Regulations (FTR) for specific agencies, with limited exceptions to audit rules.
• Experience in credit card clearing processes and implementation.
• In-depth knowledge of Federal Travel Regulation (FTR).
• Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Certification as Concur Travel Implementation and Configuration.
• Able to lead design workshop sessions and gather design requirements.
• Support Concur Travel and Expense configuration, system, and integration testing.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with E-Gov Travel Service (ETS) system.
• Experience with GSA Travel reporting Tool.
• Master’s Degree.
