SAP BUSINESS ANALYST - FINANCE

Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused SAP S/4HANA Finance Business Analyst to support the design, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of SAP Finance solutions. This role will play a critical part in driving best-practice processes across Record-to-Report (RTR) with a strong focus on SAP S/4HANA Finance and Vendor Invoice Management (VIM – OpenText).
Essential Functions
- Lead and support SAP S/4HANA Finance design, configuration, and solution delivery across RTR processes.
- Drive implementation/Rollout and support of VIM (OpenText) including invoice automation, workflows, and integration with SAP AP.
- Partner with COE team and business stakeholders to gather requirements, define scope, and design optimal SAP solutions.
- Facilitate and lead design workshops, business process sessions, and playback meetings.
- Provide ongoing production support, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure integration between SAP Finance and other modules (MM, SD, PP) for seamless end-to-end processes.
- Support month-end close activities, financial reporting, and audit requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve data and process issues across supply chain, procurement, and finance.
- Identify and drive automation opportunities, process improvements, and system enhancements.
- Prepare functional specifications and support testing cycles including SIT, UAT, and deployment.
- Provide user training, documentation, and post-go-live support.
- Regularly works onsite to build strong team connections, collaborate across functions, and solve problems in real time.
Compensation & Benefits
This is a salaried exempt position with an annualized salary range of $130,000 to $160,000.

Travel/On-Call Requirements
Flexibility for global time zones working conditions
Occasionally work outside of standard business hours, including providing remote weekend coverage (on-call).
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or the equivalent combination of education and years of experience.
- 5–8+ years of experience in SAP Finance (FI/CO) with strong expertise in RTR processes.
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting).
- Strong experience with VIM (OpenText) including invoice capture, workflow customization, and exception handling.
- At least 1–2 full SAP implementation or transformation projects (S/4 preferred).
- Proven experience integrating Finance with Source to Pay and Order to Cash modules.
- Strong understanding of financial processes, reporting, and controls.
- Experience in end-to-end invoice processing, AP automation, and compliance requirements.
Preferred Education & Experiences
- Experience with SAP Fiori apps and S/4HANA user experience.
- Exposure to SAP S/4 HANA, Group Reporting, or FSCM is a plus.
- Knowledge of ABAP debugging, SAP BW/analytics is beneficial.
- Experience working in global environments (multi-country/company code).
- MBA or relevant SAP certification is a plus.

Work Environment
This is an on-site position based at the Trident Support Center office in Seattle’s Ballard neighborhood, with the option to work remotely on Fridays.
In-office time takes place in a typical office environment: temperature controlled with adequate lighting and moderate noise. While remote, employees must provide appropriate home office space.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time at a desk. Frequently required to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to talk or hear. The employee will occasionally stand, walk, and may lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
