SAP Basis Specialist

Location: 100% Remote (Must work exclusively within the United States)

About the role

Provide operation support for the SAP ecosystem across multiple environments including ECC, CRM, BW, and SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI). Lead primary SAP BASIS administration for major enterprise applications, ensuring system stability and performance. Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, acting as the primary point of contact for technical support. Schedule and coordinate SAP system installs, upgrades, patches, backups, and restorations. Participate in disaster recovery planning, testing, and documentation to ensure business continuity.

Requirements

• Five (5) years of progressively responsible IT experience in administration of SAP BASIS, with a setup similar to SMUD.
• Strong understanding and hands-on experience in SAP enterprise solutions, including installation, configuration, patching, troubleshooting, and documentation.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP system design, configuration, and functionality across various platforms.
• Hands-on experience with AIX, UNIX, Linux, Windows, DB2, and MS SQL.
• Experience with SAP ECC6, S/4 HANA, BW/BI, CRM, BOBJ, PO, BPC, HANA, C/4 HANA, SAP BTP, SuccessFactors, and related tools.
• Experience with Solution Manager and SAP Cloud ALM for monitoring and project management.
