SAP Basis Administrator - REMOTE

This position is remote and supports a company delivering and maintaining mission-critical enterprise SAP environments for government customers.

About the role

As the technical steward of a complex SAP landscape, you will ensure the reliability, performance, security, and modernization of SAP platforms including S/4HANA, ECC, Solution Manager, Fiori, and cloud-based SAP environments. Join a team supporting critical business operations while driving SAP modernization, cloud adoption, and long-term platform resilience.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and support SAP S/4HANA, ECC, Solution Manager, Fiori, Gateway, Web Dispatcher, SAP BTP, and related technologies.
• Perform SAP installations, upgrades, patching, kernel updates, system refreshes, client copies, and landscape migrations.
• Monitor system performance, availability, transports, interfaces, and troubleshooting activities to ensure optimal platform operations.
• Support SAP High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR), cloud deployments, and cybersecurity compliance initiatives including RMF/STIG requirements.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, database, cloud, security, and functional teams to support releases, sustainment efforts, and modernization projects.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience supporting SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, or similar SAP enterprise platforms.
• 4+ years of hands-on SAP Basis administration experience, including installations, upgrades, patches, and technical migrations.
• Experience with SAP Transport Management System (TMS), SAP HANA databases, SAP Solution Manager, and Linux and/or Windows server environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, performance tuning, system administration, and technical documentation skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
• Active Secret Clearance (Interim or Final) required.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• DoD 8140 IAT Level II certification required.
