Key Responsibilities
- Implement, configure and support SAP SD modules to meet business requirements across order management, pricing, billing and returns.
- Design, develop and maintain EDI integrations (inbound and outbound) to exchange documents with trading partners, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Collaborate with integration teams and middleware (e.g., Sterling B2B) to build and troubleshoot data mappings, transports and interfaces.
- Partner with business stakeholders, logistics, carrier and warehouse teams to gather requirements, define processes and translate needs into SAP configurations and EDI specifications.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to minimize business impact.
- Lead and participate in testing activities (unit, integration, regression and user acceptance testing) and support cutovers and deployments.
- Document functional and technical designs, runbooks and support procedures; maintain up-to-date process and configuration documentation.
- Provide end-user support and training, create knowledge articles and assist with change management activities.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, identify automation opportunities and optimize SAP/EDI processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Coordinate with developers (ABAP/Java) and external vendors for custom enhancements, interfaces and system upgrades.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on SAP experience with strong expertise in SAP SD.
- Proven experience implementing and supporting EDI solutions and working with EDI document standards and mappings.
- Experience with Sterling B2B and/or other B2B/EDI middleware is a plus.
- Familiarity with ShipERP, SAP NetWeaver, ABAP and Java is desirable.
- Solid understanding of logistics, carrier interactions and warehouse processes in an order-to-cash context.
- Experience troubleshooting integrations, reading logs and performing root cause analysis in production environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with business and technical teams.
- Able to work in a hybrid model (on-site and remote) and flexible to collaborate across time zones.
- SAP certifications (e.g., SAP SD) and prior experience in release management, testing and deployment are advantageous.
