Sanitation Worker - West Sacramento, CA

About the Role

This position is based in our West Sacramento distribution center. The sanitation employee, under the direction of the DC Manager, is responsible for keeping assigned areas of the facility clean and orderly, performing manual labor, and a variety of duties relative to the assigned area of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas
• Comply with all Good Manufacturing Practices
• Complete in-house chemical training
• Work in wet, cold, or hot environments
• Work weekends and overtime as needed
• Follow safety precautions and procedures
• Handle and operate cleaning equipment, process equipment, and chemical equipment
• Perform physical work such as standing, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching
• Follow instructions and established procedures
• Adhere to all company policies and act as a role model in policy adherence
• Read and follow assigned duties on the Master Cleaning Schedule
