Sanitation Worker

About the role

Lunds & Byerlys Mitchell Road is currently hiring for a self-directed and outgoing Sanitation Worker to help maintain the environment where we produce high-quality products for our customers. This position works a full-time schedule. We operate 24 hours/day and 365 days/year. For this position we are looking for someone with availability around the hours of 2:00pm-10:00pm.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, clean & sanitize equipment
• Load and operate pan washer
• Pre-operation assembly and placement of equipment
• Empty garbage bail cardboard, dispose of trash
• Maintain cleaning supplies, periodically clean walls, offices, restrooms, storage areas and furniture

Qualifications

• Previous Sanitation experience preferred
• Ability to operate machinery, multi-task, interpret and follow precise instructions
• Ability to obtain and maintain a forklift, scissor lift, and lockout/tagout certification
• Comply with USDA, FDA, OSHA, AIB and all other regulatory agencies while complying with good manufacturing practices

Pay

$22.00-$30.00/hr. The actual rate of pay offered within the range may depend on several factors such as skills, knowledge, expertise, and experience. Our organization also values internal equity when making job offers. Hiring at the maximum of the range is not typical.

Schedule

Full-time. Availability around the hours of 2:00pm-10:00pm.
