About the role
This position ensures warehouse sanitation and general labor tasks are completed in a Walford, IA facility.
Schedule
Monday–Friday, 1st shift: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
Pay
$16 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning tasks in the office, warehouse, storage racks, and bathrooms (sweeping, dusting, mopping, etc.).
- Empty trash and scrub floors.
- Compact and bale cardboard and plastic wrap.
- Participate in special projects such as painting.
- Apply company policies and procedures to day-to-day duties.
- Maintain safe work practices and remain aware of forklift traffic in the warehouse.
- Support company goals, mission, and growth by positively representing the client to candidates, customers, and the community.
Work environment
- Warehouse conditions can be dusty, dry, and humid, with temperatures ranging from 40–90 degrees.
- Possible exposure to odors and food allergens depending on stored products.
- May work outside in cold, extreme heat, wet, and/or humid conditions.
Requirements
- Ability to identify problems and recommend solutions.
- Courteous and professional communication skills.
Physical requirements
- Must be able to stoop, walk, and bend.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
