Sanitation Worker

Remedy Intelligent Staffing has several amazing career opportunities through our client located in Walford, IA. We are looking for a dependable Sanitation Worker to help maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment. This role is crucial in ensuring the facility meets safety and cleanliness standards for employees and visitors. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, able to manage tasks independently, and contribute to the overall cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Handles daily cleaning tasks in the office, warehouse, storage racks, and bathrooms, including but not limited to sweeping, dusting, mopping, etc.
• Empties trash and scrubs floors.
• Participates in special projects as assigned (i.e. painting, etc.).
• Has a thorough knowledge of GSTC's policies & procedures to apply to day-to-day duties.
• Must always work in a safe manner and exercise caution in the warehouse for awareness of forklift traffic.
• Supports the company goals, mission, and growth by representing GSTC positively to potential employment candidates, customers, and community members when appropriate.
• Clears snow and ice from the outside walk areas and in front of all exit doors.

Qualifications

• Ability to identify problems and make recommendations to solve problems.
• Courteous and professional communication skills.

Physical requirements

• Must be able to stoop, walk and bend.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.

Pay & Schedule

• Hours: M-F 7:00 AM to 15:30 PM
• Pay rate: $16
